Grate coolers for dry production
Grate coolers are designed for cooling cement clinker, alumina sand and other bulk materials with atmospheric air. They are used in technological lines for the production of cement clinker by dry method, equipped with a cyclone heat exchanger and decarbonizers.

The design of the refrigerators is developed taking into account the latest achievements in the field of cement domestic and foreign engineering, as well as safety requirements.

Hot material from the rotary kiln enters the refrigerator through the charging shaft of the casing, falls on the grate and, moving along it due to the reciprocating movement of the grate, is cooled by air blown from below through the grate by fans.

A fine fraction of material is removed from under the grate by scraper conveyors, and pieces with a particle size of more than 35 mm are crushed when the screen grate comes down with a hammer crusher.

Cooled material from the unloading device is delivered to the clinker conveyors of the furnace room.

The bulk of the air heated in the refrigerator enters the kiln and decarbonizer, and excess air is used for technological needs or discharged into the atmosphere after purification in dedusting devices.

The material cooling process is controlled by an automatic control system.
