Reamer

The reaming shell is an integral part of a diamond drilling system and acts as a coupling between the core bit and the outer tube. It cuts the hole to the correct size and stabilizes the bottom of the drill string. APRdrills reaming shells are set with high quality synthetic and natural diamond in a wear resistant matrix, and have tungsten carbide inserts at the leading edge for increased protection and longer life. The standard single diamond ring is suitable for most formations and can handle varying rock hardness or ground conditions while providing basic stabilization.
