An insulating face for blasting is an inert product designed to isolate the charge of explosives.
The face is designed to "lock" detonation products, increase the efficiency of the explosion, and reduce the radius of dispersion of the blasted rock mass.
The face is a shell made of non-woven material, filled with a dry mineral mixture.
It is used in the mining and coal industry to fill the charging cavity and isolate the explosive substance during capital and preparatory mine workings by drilling and blasting in accordance with the requirements of FNiP "Safety Rules in Coal Mines" approved by Order No507 dated 08.12.2020, FNiP "Safety Rules for Mining and Processing of Solid Minerals" approved by Order No505 dated 08.12.2020. and FNiP "Safety Rules for Blasting Operations", approved by Order No605 of 16.12.2013.
