Reinforced hose (RA) is made of non-flammable, antistatic polypropylene fabric, designed to be used instead of concrete tightening when fastening capital mine workings with metal frame support and is a hose of the required diameter, part of the perimeter of which is reinforced with rods with a diameter of 8-12 mm and a length equal to the distance between the frames every 150 mm.
The upper part of the sleeve is sewn onto the supporting part in such a way that when the sleeve is filled with cement slurry, it can increase in thickness up to 350 mm to ensure full contact with the host rocks. In the event of a cross-section of more than 350 mm, it is proposed to additionally use a spacer bag. This fabric is approved for use in underground mines and has antistatic properties due to copper threads.
The RA has valves in the center, and if necessary, on the sides, for supplying it with cement slurry. It is delivered to the face rolled up on both sides to the middle.
RA is used:
- as an interframe tightening;
- as a proppant connection between the rock mass and the frame arch support.
