The material distribution cone is also called bulk material cone, material distributor, material distribution plate, distribution cone, etc. It is one of the indispensable accessories in the crushing device of VSI series new type sand making machine (VSI impact crusher). The material of the sand machine is evenly dispersed in the impeller to realize the reasonable distribution of the material, prevent uneven wear of various parts, and ensure the smooth operation of the sand making machine and the quality of the finished sand.
 
VSI sand making machine can be divided into "rock-on-rock" and "rock-on-iron" crushing principles according to the feeding method. The distributing cone of the impact crusher is installed on the upper part of the vortex crushing chamber, and the function of the distributing plate is to divide the incoming material from the feeding hopper. Stone-to-stone adopts a waterfall flow distribution system. The material falls into the hopper of the sand making machine, falls through the annular hole, and is divided into two streams by the material distribution cone: a part of the material directly enters the impeller through the central feed pipe and is gradually accelerated to a higher speed. Ejected at high speed, a part of the material enters the outer side of the impeller in the vortex crushing chamber from the outside of the central feeding pipe, and finally the two paths of material collide strongly in the area of the impeller, resulting in rock-on-rock crushing.
 
"Stone iron" is to introduce all the materials into the impeller cavity, and after the impeller accelerates, it is thrown out, and the metal impact plate on the inner wall of the equipment is collided to achieve the crushing effect. By adjusting the ratio of center feed and edge feed of the distribution cone, the flexible conversion between sand making and shaping of the VSI sand making machine can be realized.
